INTRODUCTION

Our goal is to organize a padel tournament at the major Web3 conferences around the world, bringing together the top Web3 builders in an environment that blends sports, innovation, and networking.

This unique concept offers a fresh take on side events by providing a cool, healthy, and friendly atmosphere, where participants can not only compete on the court but also share moments with friends/teams and exchange valuable insights.

Diversity: The players represent a wide range of profiles from the Web3 ecosystem.

Skill: The tournaments are open to all levels. Teams are balanced to ensure competitive and challenging matches.

Community & Networking: Beyond the competition, the events are designed to foster collaboration and exchanges, with a spirit of camaraderie, celebration, and fair play.

Representation: Players represent iconic teams from the Web3 ecosystem. These teams compete for the championship title.

PRIZES, LEADERBOARD

& INTERACTIONS

Prize Pool: A prize pool will be offered at each tournament, along with a significant prize pool for the grand finale.

Leaderboard: This leaderboard system tracks team performances throughout the season across multiple tournaments. Points are awarded based on each tournament's ranking and are accumulated to establish an overall ranking. The top teams at the end of the season qualify for the grand finale.

Spectator Engagement:

  • Introduction of a betting system for spectators, utilizing a Web3 mechanism (e.g., Polymarket).

  • Live voting system allowing spectators to influence the game with advantages or penalties for players (e.g., Fanboost eprix).

STRATEGY & COMMUNICATION

Implement a robust communication strategy to enhance the visibility of the events and maximize their impact.

  • Build a community of passionate players (Padel and Web3)

  • Form partnerships with conferences

  • Collaborate with DAOs, NFT collections, and foundations (teams)

  • Work with Web3 Influencers/KOLs who play Padel

  • Each team will receive a branded padel outfit (t-shirt, shorts or skirts)

  • An aftermovie video for each tournament

  • Interviews with participants during the tournament

  • Matchmaking via a form filled out before

  • 10% of the prize pool per tournament will be donated to a charity chosen by the winning team

  • Collaborate with Web3 media as well as local press

TYPICAL EVENT FORMAT

  • 3 pm - Doors open & Team pictures

  • 3.30 pm - Warming + Start of padel competition

  • 5.30 pm - End of group stage, start of final rounds

  • 7 pm - Prize ceremony + press time with our media partners

  • 7.30 pm - Start of the After-Event

  • Final Prize Pool: As a sponsor team, a portion of the final prize pool will be reserved for the top-ranked teams, adding an extra financial incentive to your participation
